Since making his debut, UK-based artist and songwriter, Sam Handy has delivered stellar hit after stellar hit. His latest single, Done, produced by Ed Stokes, is a firecracker of a neo soul jam. It eases you in with the vibrant funk-dripping grooves before the weight of the no-prisoners-taken-lyricism grips you. Sam sets himself apart in the pop charts by keeping his focus on instrumental ability and songwriting, with minimal production, to give his sound an all-consuming live feel. His narratively sniping lyrics and old-school blues pop vocals will be a big hit with any fans of John Mayer, Tom Misch and D’Angelo. He has already received high praise from Jeff Beck, been lauded by the BBC and won over crowds in his hometown shows. Sam Handy started penning songs in 2016; a year later, during a studio session in Newbury, he ran into producer Ed Stokes, who collaborated on his hit song, She Lit Up the Floor; they’ve worked together ever since. The Reading-based artist released his debut single, Maple Syrup, in 2016; with the successive releases, he moved into a more experimental alt-pop territory; a style and sound that comes naturally to the up and coming singer-songwriter. His next single is in production, and it is due to be released in March 2022.
I am a session drummer based in London, UK and have by now performed with a variety of acts, from philharmonic and symphonic bands, to function, tribute and original bands and artists. Throughout the last 17 years (plus the early years of table top gigs!), I have gathered extensive experience both in the studio and performing live in a variety of music genres and styles, which spread from classical and folk to pop, blues, soul, indie, jazz, rock and metal music, among others. Some of the names I've played drums (and sometimes BV's) for include L.A. PEACH, The Richard Smith Piano Trio, Just Like Honey, Anthony James, Elliott Millman, Izzie Naylor, Abi Farrell, I Talk To Strangers, RESET Function Band, What The Floyd, among others. I was also a key percussionist in the Philharmonic of Arrabal as well as in the Leiria Symphonic Band. Between these, I offer remote a drum recording service, I write and produce my own music, and also teach drums.

Serene tone vocalist Nicole brings a contrasting feel to the UK’s emerging alternative R&B music scene. As well as being a natural lyricist and effortless vocalist, Nicole produces a large amount of her work, whilst collaborating with other talented producers. Nicole draws inspiration from genres such as Neo Soul, Hip Hop and Classical. From a young age, Nicole received classical training in piano and violin, resulting in her developing a deep appreciation for classical music. With Nicole’s first release, ‘Away’, described to have a “transcendental feel”, 2021 saw the release of Nicole’s new single ‘Short but Sweet’ later followed by her debut EP, 'It Would Be So Simple', both entirely written and produced by herself. The captivating story told in ‘Short but Sweet’ accompanied by the mesmerising harmonies that flow throughout, we hear a good glimpse of what Nicole will bring in the upcoming future.
I met the Jamma crew at a gig in Manchester, and after getting to know them was invited to be the regional 'Jambassador' for Essex, UK. As an artist it's been great and they really helped me to push my latest single. As a 'Jambassador; they sent me a ton of free merch and personalised business cards and pay for me to check out gigs in my region to sign up artists and venues! I also was invited to perform on their professionally filmed podcast series, 'The Jamma Show' which was not only great fun but also a great way to get my music out to my fans!
We have recently signed up to Jamma and love that we can have a dedicated page for our band and also individual pages allowing us to advertise ourselves for solo work and showcase our material as a group and as separate band members. It's also great to be able to find potential new band members and stand in DEP musicians as and when we need them

I registered with Jamma before the launch and I was lucky enough to perform at their '331' launch event. Since going live I have used the website to build an artist page and upload all my content as well as connect to find paid gigs! It's super easy to use and they have always been there to support me whenever needed. Not only have I found paid work, but I have also been featured on podcasts and various special marketing projects which have been great for exposure, especially in these uncertain times. Jamma also takes 0% commission on anything I earn through the platform, and it's even free to use right now!
