Edit biography

Nana Araj is 22 years old and is one of the new breed of UK based upcoming artist who blends Hip Hop, R&B and Drill that include Ms Banks, Abigail Asante, Ivorian Doll and Latto

Nana started songwriting and poetry at the age of 12 and rapping four years later. She already feels confident with her flow and has developed a unique style, combining melody and rap.

She started posting songs on platforms such as Youtube and Soundcloud in 2018. She has achieved 1000’s of Spotify streams since 2019.

She is a prolific writer and now spends her time collaborating with songwriters and producers of diverse talents and styles, including Elde, the artist. In July 2019, she supported Elde on her ‘Metaphoric State of Mind’ album tour, based at Notting Hill Arts Club, London. She sites this as a great learning experience. In June 2020, she was also featured as a model in Elde’s song music video of ‘Epiphany’.

In February 2021, she released her latest single called ‘You’re A Bad Bunny’. It’s an inspiring song which promotes self-believe as a female in the music industry after she receiving some rumours and hate from her friends. It’s also a catchy beat which helped it gain high numbers of streams on Spotify. Her song got played on Amazing Radio Airplay after she uploaded it. This year, she’s releasing a drill song called ‘Passionate’.
