Madra Rua is the moniker of acclaimed Birmingham born Singer, Songwriter & Guitarist, James Reidy.

Born from ashes of his previous pop project, this new twist creates a indie pop/rock sound influenced by the likes Sam Fender, The 1975, John Mayer, Tom Grennan, Tom Misch, Michael Kiwanuka and The Beatles.

James is currently studying towards an MA in Commercial Songwriting & Production at Tileyard Studios, London. Songwriting credits include Sony Music Publishing & Ninja Tunes.

James is available for songwriting collaboration, session work, both public and private live performances with set containing original music or classic covers to suit all needs.

Cover sets can include a range of Contemporary Pop, Rock & Roll and Traditional Irish Music.
